Golf Instruction DVD
Do you want to learn how to hit the ball long and straight, consistently?
Whether you're a beginner or a scratch golfer, this DVD has important information for you.
There is only one correct golf swing because it's simple physics that for maximum efficiency, there must only be one way. This is what I teach you in my new DVD.
If I see a photograph of any golfer at the moment of impact, I can tell that golfers handicap very accurately. All good golfers look the same at impact and the further away from this position, the higher the handicap.
Look at these photographs from my article Less Heave More Speed in the National Club Golfer magazine and put your mouse pointer over them to see the angles:-

The key to achieving the correct swing is understanding and then practicing the movement that creates this position. It is only golfers who are within a few percent of the correct movement that get down to scratch or reach pro standard.
Here's how I explained it in the National Club Golfer article:-
"The number one swing fault in golf is the destructive use of the arms and shoulders as a power source : the dreaded heave. The heave is an over use of the upper arms and shoulders - the effort zone. Even the best players hit bad shots because they have used this part of the body to force or manipulate the club-head. Allow me to teach you how to use your hands and wrists instead to create club-head speed."
Why is it that the best players make the golf swing look so easy? and why do most club golfers make the swing look like such hard work?
It's because most club golfers make too much use of their arms, where as professional golfers know that the secret is in the hands.
Why is it then that some tour players have strange looking golf swings?
Let's start by saying that all tour players have this in common - they make the swing look so easy. On the other hand if you think about the swings of your fellow club golfers you'll see a lot more sweat and effort. Nevertheless, some tour players do have somewhat unusual looking swings.
How can this be if there is only one correct swing?
There are 3 reasons:
- All tour players are in the right impact position because they all MOVE correctly in the down swing. Some, like Jim Furyk, have unusual looking back swings but they all move the same way in the down swing.
- The only reason they can do this is that they perform the two main movements of the golf swing correctly and release energy from the body turn and hand action, while the upper arms and shoulders remain passive.
- They have practiced these basic movements over many years and ingrained them into their subconscious by hitting thousands and thousands of balls.

But, if you don't have the time or the inclination to hit tens of thousands of practice balls, what's your alternative? ... what's the answer for club golfers?
If you want to hit the ball consistently - well, down the middle and long - you need to learn THE correct golf swing. Even if you don't get it exactly right - and that does require consistent practice - you'll be much better off than trying one quick fix after another. Rather than looking at what's wrong with your swing, you're much better to focus on the correct movement. And that's what I teach you - the correct way to swing the golf club. The correct golf swing is simply two basic movements and one connection that enables you:
- to hit longer shots by generating more club-head speed
- to hit straighter shots consistently, by better club-head control
Now I've given a lot of consideration to questions you might have. Just in case you're thinking along these lines, I thought I'd give you some answers right away.
It's so easy to buy. Go on.
Do you have to be a top athlete like Tiger Woods? - Not at all, in fact once you get used to the feeling of the new swing, it's much easier on your body than most of the club golfer's swings I see.
What can you learn if you're a 28 handicapper or even a beginner? - You do not have to be an expert golfer to understand the correct swing. What you'll get is a comprehensive swing build process and a list of key points to practice. If you practice what I teach, you can improve significantly in a few months.
"I was delighted with the complete package. I think you have done the definitive work on the golf swing. Having never broken 100, today I shot 92. Your programme is quite simply the best chance for mere mortals to enjoy the game." Roy Edwards, London, UK
What can you learn if you have a single figure handicap? - A better understanding of the correct swing will enable to practice more constructively and therefore play to a higher standard
"Other golf professionals have taught me but my game did not improve to the extent it has done following David's tuition. Many thanks David for helping me to improve my game beyond recognition. My handicap was 9 and I'm now playing to 6 and still improving. It's simple, effective and I saw results straight away." Jonathan Hill, Wigan, UK
Why shouldn't I just continue with the swing I've got now? - Of course, you may not want to make the effort to improve your golf. However, there is an important point for the long-term. If you learn the correct golf swing now, you'll have a swing that will last you the rest of your playing days.

"It all made perfect sense. I began practicing each little exercise until it felt natural and easy, then I went to the next…. For the first time in my life, I have an effective and repeatable golf swing. What a wonderful gift you have given me! Thank you so much for giving me back the game I love." Virgil Finley, Oklahoma City, USA
You can read a much more detailed explanation of my teaching on the correct swing in my five page article "All about speed" in my Golf International Magazine article, January 2004. In that article you'll see photographs of several exercises I recommend you use to help build a correct golf swing.
However, if you're really interested in improving your golf I strongly recommend you look at my new Secret of Golf DVD. Here's why:
- While photographs can be helpful, you really need to see the correct swing and the swing build exercises in action. The DVD gives you this.
- The 42 page instruction manual that comes with the DVD is packed with detailed instructions and even more photographs.
- On the DVD I cover:
- Understanding The Correct Swing
- Pre-swing fundamentals including stance, ball position, your grip and pre-shot routine
- The Half-Swing Exercise
- The Full-Swing Exercise
- The Short Game
